Post Secondary Directories of Learning at a Distance

Directories of On-line and Distance Education Courses, Programs and Institutions in BC, Canada, the US and the rest of the World.

Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning (TRU-OL) serves the needs of over 16,000 students each year, delivering approximately 400 different online courses.

Geteducated.com offers a free directory of on-line colleges, internet universities, and training institutes with alphabetically listed institutions in the US, England and South Africa and Alberta's Athabasca University. Links are to the institution homepage.

Athabasca University, Canada's Open University, offers electronically delivered Bachelor of Computing and Information Systems, Master of Business Administration or Master of Distance Education degrees. Traditional home-study undergraduate degrees are also available in arts and sciences. Entrance is open to residents of Canada, the United States, and Mexico who are over the age of 18.

The NODE Learning Technologies Network is a not-for-profit electronic network facilitating information and resource sharing. The NODE offers a database of nearly 3,000 distance education credit courses currently offered by Ontario colleges and universities, including course listings and institutional information for nearly 1,200 courses at 14 Ontario universities and nearly 1,800 courses at 24 Ontario colleges.
